Pastor Mike Ward
An educator, consummate musician, author, visionary and prolific spiritual leader.
He is the founder and senior pastor of New Birth Church, based in Louisville, KY. His motivating teachings have reached thousands throughout the Louisville and Southern Indiana community on his weekly television broadcast New Birth…New Life.
Pastor Mike graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Education and taught in the Jefferson County Public School system for over 7 years. He is a self-taught keyboardist, bass, and guitar player. He served on the board of directors for the American Red Cross (River Valley Region) and chaired the Diversity Committee.
He is a member of P.H.I.P.A. (Potter's House International Pastoral Alliance) and was ordained by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Pastor Mike’s sage advice is highly sought after from pastors and lay members alike. Pastor Mike is married to Ruth Ward and together they have one son (Matthew).
